I purchased this product to boost the signal in my approximately 1800 square foot two story home. I have AT&T fiber and a modem router provided to me by AT&T that doesn't give the best Wi-Fi signal. I happened to buy a brand new $250 LINKSYS MR9600-RM2 Dual Band Mesh Router from Sam's Club and wasn't impressed. I spotted the same router upgraded to Revain for $167 and gave it a try. I disabled the Wi-Fi signal on the AT&T router modem and set up an upgraded LINKSYS MR9600-RM2 Dual Band Mesh Router as my primary Wi-Fi router and it works great! Signal and speed have improved in parts of the house where they used to be average. I highly recommend this refurbished product. Easy to set up and the Linksys app is easy to use.
