Powerful and Fast: Router

I noticed an improvement in speed right away. I bought it as a base for a mesh system but don't need mesh satellites due to the strong signal.

Pros
  • Powered by Smart Grid Technology
Cons
  • Security

No troubleshooting needed

(Fixed) You cannot log into your router using the default gateway. Configuration changes and "troubleshooting" are done exclusively through the app. The router can establish a fiber optic WAN (Wide Area Network) connection with an Internet Service Provider (Zipily Fiber), also known as (Frontier). The router could not route the connection via LAN or WLAN. I was only able to access a few Google domains that weren't cached sites. I've tried three different DNS settings (IPS, Google, Auto), all…

Pros
  • Installs in minutes with easy-to-use Linksys app
Cons
  • Something Else

Excellent range covers your entire home

Very easy to set up with the Linksys app. Advice. Make sure your ISP modem is off for the time specified during setup so the router can automatically configure your ISP. It took about 10 minutes. The updated router has arrived in perfect condition.

Pros
  • Easily manage Wi-Fi access for devices and people in your home with Alexa
Cons
  • I'll text back

Works like new! fits routers

I purchased this product to boost the signal in my approximately 1800 square foot two story home. I have AT&T fiber and a modem router provided to me by AT&T that doesn't give the best Wi-Fi signal. I happened to buy a brand new $250 LINKSYS MR9600-RM2 Dual Band Mesh Router from Sam's Club and wasn't impressed. I spotted the same router upgraded to Revain for $167 and gave it a try. I disabled the Wi-Fi signal on the AT&T router modem and set up an upgraded LINKSYS MR9600-RM2 Dual Band Mesh…

Pros
  • Coverage up to 3000 square feet and supports 40+ devices
Cons
  • I don't remember

Firmware needs more work!

This firmware (updated on first boot) is not yet ready for main use and easily confuses and frequently hangs the router. It actually crashes on its own, hangs on boot, and requires a factory reset to boot successfully again. After this happened the SECOND time I decided to return the wasted time router. IMHO Linksys should stay with Marvell and never go back to Belkin whose products have been crap lately. Belkin used to be my first choice for routers, switches, hubs etc. Then I bought 4 Wemos…

Pros
  • Dynamically increases Wi-Fi speed and eliminates dead spots in your home
Cons
  • Vulgarity
