Initially 3*, now 1*. Terrible.

I bought this to work with my work laptop which can usually be expanded to 2 extra screens. This hub allows 3 screens, but I was very disappointed that it can only "clone" or "mirror" the main screen. They do not "expand" the display. Basically all you get is 3 screens showing the same thing which is useless to me. Luckily I was able to use the laptop's HDMI port for an extended monitor and I use this hub for a VGA connection (laptop mirroring). So at least I have 2 screens to use on regular monitors when the laptop is closed. But yes, I am very disappointed that I cannot run 3 monitors as this product advertises. In addition, the USB ports are too weak. Working with two USB devices (keyboard and headset) works fine, but when I plugged in a third (mouse) everything slowed down to a bare minimum. The mouse response was intermittent and could not be used as a third device. In short, although this hub has 4 USB ports, only 2 of them can be used at the same time. EDIT 1/6/2020: I will be returning this product. Wow, DO NOT BUY! I almost returned it last Friday but suddenly HDMI port #2 was working and I was able to expand the display to 1 additional monitor. I wanted 3 unique monitor displays but at least 2 was bearable. I booted up my laptop today and again this hub is having the same issues. My laptop no longer recognizes a monitor connected to an HDMI port - only VGA (which can only clone a laptop screen, not extend it). So I went back to this "3 monitors" hub and did nothing but clone my laptop screen. To top it off, I can now only run one USB device on this hub before experiencing performance issues. My wireless keyboard and mouse kept freezing or having connection issues. Literally everything this center says is a lie. For those wondering, my laptop is the new HP Elitebook 745 G5. All my wireless devices are Logitech.
