This is a great basic gooseneck kettle.I like how the light when heating is blue rather than red or orange like a lot of other models. Heating water is as simple as filling it, placing it on the element and pushing the lever down.The lid is very tight; it takes a fair bit of force to push on or remove. This came be either a good thing or a bad thing depending on your needs, and my guess is it will loosen up with time. But if you have pain or weakness in your hands, you might want to pass on this one.The rubber guard against the kettle opposite the handle helps reduce risk of burning.It pours beautifully and so long as the tight lid isn't an issue for you I can recommend this for a good gooseneck electric kettle option.
