The product is easy to use. I love the fact that it turns on when you pull out the dipstick and turns off automatically if it's not used for a few minutes or when you push the dipstick back to the "closed" position. It also has a backlight so you can see better. Also, you can either hang it on the fridge (because it's magnetic) or hang it up (it comes with a clip). I didn't even know it worked as a bottle opener. I don't know how I missed it from the promotional picture but maybe it was because I was only happy to get 5 star reviews for the item I wanted and didn't pay attention to anything else. The thermometer even comes with an extra battery (one already pre-installed). I am satisfied with the product.
