Review on JBL Clip 4: Black Portable Bluetooth Speaker with Waterproof and Dustproof Features and Built-in Battery by Evgeniy Zaytsev

JBL portable speakers are famous not only for their bass, but also for their unpleasant sensations. As well as an amazing color scheme, which is usually not limited to a couple of trivial options. The JBL Clip 4 speaker is not excluded. Thirty color options, the ability to hang it on a backpack, clothes or a simulator, an unsinkable design and a non-standard appearance, at least make you pay attention to this device.

Once, while making a trip to nature, I wanted musical accompaniment, but the radio in the car was clearly not enough. Not that they had a worse time without music, and yet the thought of a receiver or something like that settled in my head.



Knowing that compact wireless speakers have been around for a long time, I chose the JBL clip portable speaker.

There is a warning in the instructions: the carbine is not intended for use in mountaineering.

In general, it was planned that the portable speaker would be used occasionally, just for trips, to nature, to the country, I could turn on the music if appropriate.

When the device "JBL clip 4" sounded for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality, it is voluminous and now I use the speaker quite often. For example, when I listen to an audiobook, and the maximum sound of the recording is quiet or indistinct. I often arrange home parties, because the tracks now sound in a new way, giving the whole sound range with the slightest shades, giving indescribable pleasure, which was previously inaccessible. Sometimes I take the Jbl speaker with me in the car, turn it on quietly, but the sound is completely different than in the radio.



I did not plan to save on the brand, I wanted a quality item, so we chose "JBL" Harman USA.

In general, many details are 100% thought out. For example, the bottom of the device has a silicone insert that prevents slipping on a horizontal surface. Accidentally hitting you will not push, silicone resists.

There are only five control keys: power on, Bluetooth connection, two sound adjustment keys more and less, and pause. Conveniently located and intuitive. If playback is from a smartphone, incoming calls are available to you, you can receive a call with one central key, you need to speak by approaching / turning to the speaker so that the subscriber can hear you well.

There is a led indication: the light indicates in color that the connection has occurred or that it is time to charge the battery.
