Review on Giro Tremor MIPS Bike Helmet by Jared Bradford

I bought my child's Giro Tremor MIPS bike helmet less than 6 months ago and it is going in the bin because a cheap part broke during the adjustment. She twisted the knob to tighten it and suddenly came loose. There was no click, no sound of an object breaking. I thought that maybe it just detached from something, but upon closer inspection it turned out to be broken. How can he properly protect the child when it breaks due to normal, proper adjustment? Unfortunately I wasted $60 as I expected it to last a few years until it grows so stay away from this helmet.
