Review on 🌡️ Camco 09953 Thermostat Valve TRV117743 by Daniel Hicks

I've been a plumber since 1982 and have always used a standard stamped steel element socket to replace a water heater element. They never lasted too long and were very difficult to use at times. After all these years, I finally came across a few elements that I couldn't remove with the various methods I've used over the years. I ordered this socket on Friday, received it on Sunday and my customer's items were replaced on Monday at 8:00 am after spending about 15 minutes at his home. This head was very tight on the element nuts and using my 24" 1/2" drive wrench (I had an impact wrench handy but didn't need it) made the job a lot easier. One of the nice things about this clutch is that the tips are machined to fit onto the nut where the tips have been rounded off due to previous unsuccessful attempts to remove the stuck element. I wish I had waited so many years to own this instrument.
