Review on Steelite Crochet Hook Size 1 5Mm by Summer Hendricks

These are very good hooks and come in rare sizes. I've been using this size (0.90mm) for bead crochet for years. What I thought was a callus on my index finger became very dry, irritated and painful. When I googled the symptoms, I found a few people who said they were allergic to the nickel plating on steel hooks. I completely forgot, but I'm allergic to nickel and that could be the cause of the irritation. So I did what I used to do with my earrings - painted them with clear nail polish to cover the nickel. I may have to reapply it regularly but it has worked well for my ears and I hope it helps my finger.
