Perfect! Just what I needed for the dining room lamp, my daughter found it at Habitat for Humanity and painted it in brushed nickel. That looks great. The dining room light is dimmable and these lamps have been specifically designed for use in dimmer lights. These lightbulbs are beautiful, bright and use very little electricity, which is important for our whole family. We have installed energy saving light bulbs in all our lights. It costs more up front but saves you a lot of money in the long run as they use very little power and last a very, very long time. All of this translates into lower energy costs for us and better for the environment. We try to make a contribution. Buy it! Put LED light bulbs in all your lights and save on electricity bills.
