Review on Efficient Fuel Injection Throttle Body by Hitachi - Complete with Gasket/O-Ring by Juan Castillo

I installed this on a 2007 Silverado 4.8L due to throttle position codes. In the end it worked great and solved my problem. Keep in mind that this part requires a throttle relearn procedure, otherwise you may find the idle speed is high or erratic. There is a method to perform an idle relearn without scanning. Tool but after many tries the idle speed was still erratic and too high (2000rpm). The 20-minute road test was another way to relearn the idle, but that didn't work either. At this point, many people would think the part is faulty, but it isn't. I borrowed an expensive snap-on scanner from a friend and was able to complete the standby relearn in just a few minutes. For some reason I couldn't complete the idle relearn procedure without a scan tool, although there is a procedure for that. Bottom line: if you don't have a scan tool to relearn the idle after replacing this part, you may need to give it to someone who can.
