At first I was very impressed with this muffin tin. It's thick and very heavy. It didn't warp in the oven. It even comes with a lid perfect for transporting cupcakes or cupcakes for a variety of uses. However, my enthusiasm for this product waned when I couldn't get the lid off. The plastic lid fits directly onto the jar and offers a very snug fit. So tight that I spent several minutes trying to remove the lid. I had to knock and pull and knock even more to break the seal between the lid and base and if you have delicate desserts inside you can bake them again. Even my husband complained that he couldn't take it off. So this is a 3 star cupcake pan when it should be 5 star.
