These bolt extractors are a life saver, seriously!Whenever you're trying to pull an engine with a million bolts in hard to reach places, it's not uncommon to strip a bolt or find one that has rusted into oblivion after 230,000 miles of not being touched. Even if it's for an easier job, like brakes, or even something completely unrelated to auto mechanics - you'll never regret getting yourself a good set of these things. You don't need them until you do, and then you have never been more relieved you have them when nothing else works.This set is by a very good brand, they usually produce a good quality that holds up very well. These are no different - another success by GearWrench!This set is also extremely nice in the sense that they are designed to also tighten the bolt(s) after you've removed them and need to put them back in. It's not the easiest thing to find replacement bolts for an engine, so this is a huge bonus! It's not like it'll have to be touched again for another 200,000 miles (hopefully!), so might as well put the junk bolt back in instead of wasting time and money on finding a new bolt!Overall these are holding up exceptionally well. They do exactly what they're supposed to and haven't given me any issues at all. I have a few sets of this type of tool, all different brands, and these are my nicest ones. They have a great bite and are designed for use with an impact, so you can even use them with an impact wrench without worry!I would happily recommend these to absolutely anyone, regardless of what you think you might use them for!
