This case is NOT waterproof. I really wanted (and had to) like this cover, but we used it on our convertible Mustang for about two weeks and ended up getting a few days of rain. I checked under the cover this morning during a break in the rain to see if the car was dry underneath. NO! Many convertible Mustangs have top leaks, including ours. We spent about $1,000 detailing our red 2009 Mustang and steam cleaning it to remove the mold that got inside when the car got wet, so we needed this coating to work , but she doesn't. The storms we had were fairly mild with no real wind and not too much deluge - just a few hours with not too much rain so I'm not happy about the car getting wet under the canopy. And yes, we put the cover on properly and attached the clip that goes under the car. I took some photos of what we found removing part of the cover - they're attached. It was difficult to photograph the film of water under the lid as it is very shiny, but hopefully you can see water droplets and even some bird droppings coming through the lid. Send back.
