Review on 🔨 HIC Mortar and Pestle Spice Herb Grinder Pill Crusher Set, Genuine Carrara Marble, 4" x 2.5 by Reshelle Smeenge

Overall a great product. Both the mortar and pestle came as a set. I bought this to rub off old watercolors, rewet them and transfer them from a large plastic palette to a smaller Meeden metal travel palette. I was a little concerned that the pigments would permanently stain the marble (hello, it's white) but it was almost entirely cleared up with dish soap and a bit of scrubbing, which is amazing considering I used ALL my colors from bright red ground to dark blue and even black in this matter. It's a good size - more than enough for my artistic purposes and large enough for basic use in the kitchen. And I do my best to crush rock hard watercolors into powder so crushing pills is easy. The pestle is nice and solid, making it easy to hold in your hand. tried to take a good picture. Closer to the center is a small round ridge that pops out and then falls right back into the center, a bit lower than you would expect if the center was sanded evenly. Is it a defect? I'm sure this will still work fine, but it's admittedly annoying. Can't decide if I want to risk even grinding it myself or deal with a refund.
