I only used this for my leather work boots that I bought for the car but I couldn't fully detail it without doing something. After washing my boots twice with saddle soap and drying them completely until they're as hard as cardboard, I apply a dime-sized drop of this substance to a 3-inch round area, a very thick coat. Extremely quick absorption into the skin. After I finished a coat on my right boot, the "leather taper" was already fully absorbed into that right boot while I was halfway done covering the left boot. About six thick layers on my boots and they go from stiff to amazingly flexible. Boots These are 9 inch black steel toe lumberjack boots from Red Wing with no lining. I'm in retail so boots take precedence over a car that doesn't need a 'leather fix' anyway. I also have a similar experience with anything leather, with the exception of car seats, which I'll never get to. Always. As with other products, you are satisfied with this rating because I only used this product based on my own research on the internet. Value. If I can make my stuff that costs me about 25 times more durable and still durable then I'll buy it and this item fits very well.
