I purchased ten of these brackets, my intent was save a few dollars over the hardware store. Don't waste your money on these cheap brackets.spend the extra dollar or two and get the truly sturdy, heavy duty brackets from a hardware store (Lowes and HomeDepot have far superior bracket).Three of the brackets bucked before I even put weight on the shelf. Two of the brackets were bent in the box (this should have been my first indicator of how cheap they are).After comparing to similar brackets I have from the box store, there is a glaringly obvious different in thickness of the metal used. The metal used for these brackets is incredibly soft and flimsy.I'm extremely disappointed.I will be returning these and replacing with sturdy brackets from one of the box stores. I have several other shelves with brackets from the box store.(Sorry to those who don't advocate the box stores.)
