works for 2002 Acura RSX Type-S

This worked in my 2002 Acura RSX Type-S - I just installed it today (April 3, 2015). First I got the code p1167 read out of the OBD-II interface. I reset p1167 via OBD-II to see if it comes back and it happened 3 days later (first time). Subsequent resets resulted in a much faster p1167, so my sensor seemed to be failing slowly, but it failed. I ended up getting both p1166 and p1167 as others have described. To install, all you have to do is lift the car, place it on stand, spray Blaster 16-PB Penetrant Catalyst (recommended but may not be required), unplug (there is a latch on EACH side and on one side, when unplugging I have a heard a loud click), then unscrew the old sensor. Insert the included anti-seize/compound into the threads of the new sensor, thread in first by hand and then with a wrench to the correct torque (about 1/2-3/4 turn if you don't have a torque wrench ). ). I was told), reinsert the connector, reset the p1166/p1167 code via the OBD-II interface and you're done! It took less than an hour and I've never changed a sensor before (although I've repaired a lot of cars I've had). Anyway, I drove my car around the block and still no p1166/p1167 codes came back!
