Priced at $7 each, these locks are great to keep on hand. I will keep 1 in my backpack for when I ride alone and need to dive to the toilet. I usually take my bike with me, but that's not always possible (e.g. Port-o-Potty). That way I can use one of them to quickly tie down my bike if I have to leave it unattended. I wouldn't use this as a primary lock or leave it locked for more than a few minutes because I'm sure a determined thief could pick them up in seconds. But they will definitely get a lot of use, and it's not onerous.
