I bought a set of 2 in January 2019 for my 2012 GMC Acadia. There are good installation videos on YouTube using one vise to hold the overhead gate and replacing the other by moving the clamp with a screwdriver. Don't forget to put some lubricant on the attachment points. The problem is that one failed after only 3 months and both are needed to hold the overhead gate. So now I had to order another set. I probably just got a bad one and hopefully the new ones won't let you down. They fit great and are easy to put on. Would give 5 stars except for the one that didn't work out
