The real joy for me when I wanted to buy this drill was the drill as my son always tries to use my cordless drill when I'm not watching him. I thought I'd buy him his own. The drill is so poorly made that you have to pull the trigger very carefully, and when you press the switch that moves the internal mechanism from forward to reverse, it partially works. So to drill through a screw you need to hold or glue the forward/reverse slide button and then use your other hand to gently, but not overtighten, pull the trigger. It's just cheap stuff that's badly made. I wish someone would make children's toys that aren't immediately disposable. I have a few VTech subjects, that was the first thing I felt accepted for. A little quality control in the design will easily solve this problem. Just more cheap things made in China or some other third world country.
