I would give this a minus star if they had that rating. We had an old Cuisinart coffee maker that has served us well for many years. It's leaked, so it's time to get a new one. First, the grinder is very noisy and when you try to brew a decent 10 cups of coffee, it doesn't grind enough beans. The 4 cup function is the only plus with this product. The grinder is difficult to clean and must be cleaned after each use. The basket is cheaply made and can break at any time. The jug lid does not latch properly and can fall off when the last cups are poured. It's hard to believe the quality of Cuisinart has dropped so much. Not worth half the money. Send back immediately!
