Verr disappointment with coffee, tea and espresso

Bought to replace an outdated Black and Decker coffee maker. Even after washing it several times, the coffee tastes like coffee from the on-board service. The grinder isn't big enough to fit more coffee for a decent strength and I've had my favorite coffee for years (3 scoops at B&D). Too many parts need to be washed and dried between uses and an unsatisfactory coffee isn't worth it. Have already ordered a B&D model, can't start the day with this one.

The moment it falls on your lips!

Amazing! Setup takes about 25 minutes. 15 minutes to soak the activated carbon filter. Then boil the pot with water for about 5 minutes to clean it before use. Then 5 minutes to brew the 1st teapot. The mill is very noisy. But it doesn't last long. So keep this in mind when preparing the pot in the morning. Especially if you don't want to wake your husband, children or newborn. Now the first sip. Wonderful. If you've never made whole grains at home, this is the best coffee you'll ever taste. We

Ok - not good

I replaced Keurig and went back to Tropf - this manufacturer is 'good' but not outstanding. Pot; due to the small size of the built-in coffee grinder. Cleaning is also an issue; as if even when using pre-ground coffee, the grinder accumulates moisture and still needs cleaning. Loud: I've had special grinders that are quieter than a built-in grinder. In general, this isn't bad; but after that trail i probably won't buy a unit with a built in coffee grinder - bought based on reviews - i'm not a…

Good coffee, bad design

This is my third Cuisinart grinder and brew jug. The first had a water leak after a few years, and the second failed with the electronics after two years. In general, the coffee machine makes very good coffee. The main problem is that the grinder container fills with moisture after the coffee has been made. You should either clean the grinder daily or remove the clear plastic lid and leave the coffee maker lid open all day. They think they will solve the problem in a few years. I'm assuming the

Cuisanart has lost its luster

I would give this a minus star if they had that rating. We had an old Cuisinart coffee maker that has served us well for many years. It's leaked, so it's time to get a new one. First, the grinder is very noisy and when you try to brew a decent 10 cups of coffee, it doesn't grind enough beans. The 4 cup function is the only plus with this product. The grinder is difficult to clean and must be cleaned after each use. The basket is cheaply made and can break at any time. The jug lid does not latch

makes a huge mess; Coffee is full set

Bought this coffee maker last winter when it got too cold to drink iced coffee. Last winter I was like, "Wow, that makes a huge mess, crazy." I didn't expect to have to spend nearly as much time as I spent cleaning this thing. What good is a fully automatic coffee machine if you have to clean it thoroughly after each use? As autumn approached, a hot cup of coffee cheered me on again this year. Once the machine started with just water and then tried to grind some beans to make a good pot. and…

GREAT BREWER FOR THE CASH, NICE UPDATE

Pleasantly surprised with my investment! You just have to get used to the built-in coffee grinder. The only issue I had was that when making 12 cups of coffee, limiting the amount of coffee beans doesn't make the end product rich at all. More like tea but I will try other beans. I still have to make a full cup of Kona coffee! I was close to filling the grinder to the max and only brewing 6 cups, not a full pot. But overall this is a great coffee maker and quite powerful. Looks good but doesn't…
