Promax seat clamp bolt with clamp arm

I used this Promax seat clamp with an alloy Sunlite seat clamp. I wanted the color to match my black bike so I replaced the heavy chrome Sunlite clamp arm and bolt with this Promax seat clamp. The length of this bolt was much shorter than the Sunlite bolt I was looking for because the Sunlite pinch bolt touched the inside of my leg when I was pedaling. Not only is it shorter than my previous clamp setup, it's lighter too! The price I paid was great and shipping was fast and free! The only disappointment was that the bolt is black not silver as pictured and I did not receive the two silver pieces in the picture to match the different size of the seatpost stay itself as stated in the description. The black anodizing is glossy and looks high quality. The lever feels a little flimsy, but unless it's squeezed hard enough to pinch, I doubt it's going to break! DO NOT overtighten aluminum based products as they may loosen and break over time. The packaging didn't say it was a Promax clamp; It arrived in a bubble envelope but the clip itself was only in a ziplock bag. I don't know if this is a Promax product or not. At least the item I received! It was cheap and I received it quickly but the quality doesn't seem cheap. Too bad I didn't get the sizing information and I wanted the stud to be silver instead of black. But worth the price and free shipping!
