I've been a fan of Designer Whey for a while, but their formula changes like this to pay more for less protein made me consider giving up their products entirely. Their source and filtration of their protein is decent, but fuck seriously? The 25g "per serving" advertised on the front of the bottle (when it's actually 12.5g/1 scoop) due to the amount of the scoop is ultimately false advertising and a joke. The current competitive price of protein powder per scoop is 20-25g protein per scoop. I went with 16g of the old Designer Whey vanilla bean protein formula and they upped the protein but now they add more probiotics to their formulas which I just don't need [see below]. which actually contains 20g/scoop, but with probiotics]. If you're looking for a protein powder that actually has a higher protein-to-carb ratio and actually contains a significant amount of protein (FYI, even chicken bone broth has 9g of protein per 8 fl oz), look elsewhere!
