Review on LG 34BK95U W UltraFine UltraWide Thunderbolt 75Hz: High Dynamic Range and Tilt Adjustment by Joe Cooper

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Fantastic if you don't mind the oddities of HDR.

The only thing I can say I didn't like about this monitor (it's the monitor's fault anyway) is that HDR looks weird when you have a dark background and a small light box with text (or a cursor). . I *think* you should google "HDR zone bloom" if you want to know more about it. I think *probably* that it will be fine if you're viewing HDR images/video, but I don't recall testing this specifically. In any case, a 34" 21:9 monitor is equivalent in height to a 27" 16:9 monitor, but I was coming from a 27" 16:10 monitor and I know it sounds a bit, but I really have that misses extra vertical space. I ended up bringing that back and getting some 16:9 32" monitors instead. Maybe one day I will when 40" 21:9 (or equivalent height for 16:9) are available, try again Edit: Corrected typo.
