Review on 🍳 Cuisinart 733-30H Chef's Classic Stainless 5.5 Quart Saute Pan with Helper Handle and Cover - Silver by Douglas Hall

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bought to replace a Pampered Chef pan of the same size.

Simply put, I'm trying to get rid of chemical non-stick cooktops and my wife hissed when I suggested cast iron on an induction cooktop. She wants a stainless steel Pampered Chef pan, but for over $200 for a pan this size. Mine arrived today and I've tried cooking in it and so far my observations. #1. The bottom of the pot appears to be completely flat. #2. The pan itself is pleasantly non-stick when used properly. #3. Conducting heat through the pan is MUCH more efficient than a Pampered Chef pan. What used to require medium-high heat now heats just below medium. #four. Cleaning intentionally burnt eggs (testing the non-stick coating) was very simple and easy. Allow the pan to cool, add a drop of liquid dish soap to the pan, dampen the sponge and slightly dampen the pan through the sponge and wipe off the dirt. I'll keep this in mind when using it as it gets used multiple times a day and I'll update my review if there are any issues. This pan is very reasonably priced and stainless steel pans are a lot harder to find than they were when I was young. I think they are not as good as they used to be. but i love her
