Review on 💻 USB 3.0 to VGA Adapter with DisplayLink Chipset - CableCreation VGA to USB External Video Card, 1080P Support, Windows/Mac Compatible by Jermaine Munajj

I may have hit a dead end, but it didn't work at all. I installed from the CD that came with it and then uninstalled. Reinstalled updated drivers from their website, nothing. Tried a different cable, different port, different computer, all on the latest macOS. Nothing! Other reviews are very positive so maybe I just received one that didn't work. *UPDATE* Support contacted me about problems with the adapter. I already sent the adapter back, so CableCreation kindly sent me another adapter to test. First, I have two MacBook Pros, one from 2011 and the other from 2015. The first returned adapter didn't work with either machine, but the second works fine with a 2015 machine. Now I'm going to buy another adapter from another company to see if it works with the old machine (which I really need to work with). At this point I really want to find out if the problem is a 2011 MBP or if this adapter is not suitable for a machine of that age. I will update again after further testing with a new adapter.
