The embroidery frame works very well. With the Bernina 790, remove the tray before embroidering. Use lower tension to avoid wrinkling. I have found that a heavier stabilizer is useful. Use temporary glue on the batting to attach the fabric. Always do a practice run. The magnetic hold on fabric is not as strong as with conventional hooping. On the other hand, there is no "ring burning”. I embroidered on satin. A heavier or more textured fabric is likely to hold more firmly. It's less than half the price of a big Bernina tire so I'm learning how to use it and enjoying the results.
