It all started when my wife decided on an iPhone case. She chose Otter (a good choice) from a company that decorated the back with an elegant gold watch motif. I lazily remarked that steampunk was an unusual choice for her. It looked empty so I filled it with steampunk images. She was so in love with her retro sophistication that she asked for a pair of cufflinks in this style. I choose them for her and she loves them. However, they come in a nice sleeve wrapped in small zipped pockets. DO NOT THROW BAGS! You will need them to protect the cufflinks from each other as all watch mechanisms are exposed! The tiny gears catch on everything and get ripped off. While this probably won't happen while you're wearing them (unless you're supernaturally clumsy), they can snag one another if stored together unprotected, and you won't store them any other way. So store your bags (and, come to think of it, your jewelry box). That precaution aside, these are fun and inexpensive decorations.
