The balls are VERY HARD, remember that. They're great for working hard-to-reach muscles in your lower back. I think they take a bit of getting used to and you need to play around with them first to find out how they work best for your body. I use peanuts primarily for blemishes along my thoracic spine and have had no issues with the pressure on my spine. I have a very arched lower back and I don't feel anything when I'm lying on my back with peanuts underneath, so it's helpful for me to bring my knees to my chest to straighten my back a bit. I don't know if that's recommended. So talk to someone you know and trust to help you with medical advice. After all, you have valuable organs in your body. My philosophy is that all doctors are (highly) educated predictors and don't always have the answers (especially when it comes to YOUR body). So listen to your body, do it when it feels good. Hard balls like this. You can easily hurt yourself. Oh, ant, prickly ball. It's practically useless (in my opinion). It doesn't make things any easier, and to be honest, my feet are very itchy (it kind of tickles my nerves). Some methods and uses online if you need guidance. Hope that helps!
