Great for modeling woodwork

I like to model things before I build them and I ruin a lot of expensive wood because I didn't anticipate some aspects of the project. I modeled from cardboard, but it's difficult to find the right size, and it's too thick for small models and details. The poster board would be perfect if it wasn't hanging around so often. So I had a "Goldilocks Challenge" - this one's too flexible, this one's too thick, but this chipboard is EXACTLY RIGHT! lol! It's stiff enough to hold its shape and cuts easily. For what I use I am very satisfied. I'll post a photo of the layout when I finish it this weekend (June 27-28) to show you what I'm doing. I'm in the process of building a Murphy bed and I don't want to ruin a $150 tree without turning it into particle board first. Very glad I found this. I was a bit hesitant to order it based on the reviews but then I realized the cricket people don't like it. I don't process it, I just use a small box cutter, metal ruler and Elmer's glue. So before you decide whether to order it or not, take a look at what people are using it for. It is heavier than the cardboard used to make T-shirts, pants, etc. and has good rigidity. If you're using it for book covers I'd say it's about twice the thickness of a spiral notebook but rougher with a textured finish. Most likely, it is well suited for most crafts. Only you know what you need it for
