This scan tool is an excellent advanced piece of equipment in my opinion! Whether you do it yourself or are a garage owner/techie, this is an absolute must have. I had this scanner for about two weeks and absolutely fell in love with it because not only did I find problems with my cars in problems I had never heard of before, but I spent a lot of time and effort diagnosing them. was applied effortlessly to repair my car and my neighbors' cars. Little did I know that you can create work orders, print, add emails from yourself and/or your clients, make all the problems and fixes on any PDF work order you create and the best part is that it is fully up to date . I find that amazing, it's like ordering from a retailer! Personally, I did not have the opportunity to study all parts of the scanner, but I will say the following. For what I've used it's generally easy to use and very accurate. I searched for about 2 months and found this to be the best scanner for the best bangs. Customer support is GREAT! I almost bought 2 different competing scanners, (1) was good at answering my technical questions but the simple one didn't work on a specific car until 2005, and (2) the other took a very long time to answer my question . Questions. The Autell MX-808 was recommended to me because of the type of support I was looking for, as well as the reasons I personally highlighted my expectations for customer service (in the United States). The graphics are amazing and in my opinion if you focus on buying this particular scanner, it has been used enough times, it has paid for itself more than NOT paying for diagnosis. Here's an example, my neighbor thought his Check Engine light was caused by a faulty fuel cap, this was via cmdcs but the DTC was due to bad heater voltage on the bottom O2 sensor (saved money from not buying a new part for a good bought one) a solution for no reason, it saves money because you don't throw details on a problem that wasn't even a problem). I thought I had a faulty O2 sensor due to code p0420. Because of the detailed graphs and capabilities of this particular scanner, I made the decision not to replace the downstream and upstream O2 sensors after viewing the readings and the graph they were stable in the background of the O2 sensor readings and extreme fluctuations in the Upwind readings (proving the sensors were working correctly), all I needed was good fuel management and boom! No more intermittent p0420 code. This is NOT just a scanner but a scanner with a lot of hidden features that if you decide to buy it will take you a day just to play around with it, very cool. This is the most advanced scanner I have ever used and for my level of auto mechanics it costs more than I expected and I have no desire to buy anything else.
