Works at first, but the flame gets smaller and smaller even when the flame dial is at the maximum position, and eventually the flame stops or just goes out after a low flame. My solution: I unscrewed the dial that I took off, it's just one screw, and adjusted it again so that the previous maximum setting becomes the new minimum setting, if that makes sense. I think I had to do it again after a few weeks, but now it works every time, and now you don't usually have to work to the max. To get the most out of your butane, get good quality butane and "burp" your lighter after you've filled it. So: Deflate the lighter Refuel the lighter Wait 10 minutes (probably too much, but whatever) Press the bleed valve for a second or two and adjust the flame. Ready!
