I was trying to use these switches on a custom application I was building and these switches didn't get past the soldering stage. I tested each switch to make sure they worked before adding the wiring harness and they worked. After getting my leads on 10 switches I tested them and 6 out of 10 fried during the soldering step. I take some blame as the iron was too hot for the first one but for the other 5 that died there is no physical damage to the wires but they no longer pass the current or continuity test when in the latch are (in) place. I suppose if you buy them they might work, but be aware of your hardware's temperature.
