I really like this thermometer. It plugs directly into the meat and doesn't have a remote control, so it's best used indoors where you can hear the alarm. The screen is colorful and very bright, the buttons are clear and easy to press. It has multiple presets for different types of meat and you can also customize the temperature that you can set. It has two thermometers, so you can monitor two items at the same time. The back has a strong magnet and will stick to any metal surface. Mine will stick right to my oven.
