I've always used a jack to break the tire beads. For years I've been able to break beads on 14-ply off-road tires using this method. This weekend I stumbled across a 4-ply mower tire that was sealed with Fix-a-Flat a few years ago so the bead was basically glued to the rim. . I wasn't able to break the bead with my high lift or any other method I found online. I did a little research, found Little Buddy and bought it immediately. After about a minute I broke the bead on the first side with my air ratchet. I chose the other side with a hand ratchet and it went just as quickly. I am very happy with my purchase. The little buddy will enrich my tool collection!
