Review on 🔧 Durable Dee Zee DZ95D Steel Wheel Well Tool Box with Convenient Drawers by Brandon Mcvey

Had two of these on my old truck and they have worked flawlessly for 15 years. Bought a new truck and installed two new boxes expecting the same service. The new boxes had a lot more play in the mount than the old boxes. I had to drill boxes and fasteners to install a through bolt to remove the backlash. I had to bend the inside striker bar on the door locks so they act with more force to keep the doors from opening as I drive down the road. Two weeks after installation, the spot welds securing the doors to the hinges of both drawers broke, leaving the doors in the back of the truck. I had to drill the doors and hinges and glue the doors back. If the inner toolbox rails are spot welded on the same gut I don't expect them to last very long. In summary, this is a cheap, poor imitation of the old toolboxes I had. I don't expect them to last the rest of the year let alone the next 15. Wasn't worth the time and effort to repackage and return them. I write it off as a bad decision on my part. Don't make the same mistake I did.
