The purpose of this set is to provide an economical all-in-one solution for beginners and those who need a complete makeup set. and also caters to weirdos like me looking for Easter eggs in these sets (yes, there are a few of them). It works just as well as any other kit I've tried in the past (of which there have been LOTS). What you expect from crap IS crap lol but there are some gems mixed in too. Perhaps the most useful and surprising are matte lipsticks - they stay as they should and come in a variety of shades that become even more versatile when other colors are layered on top. Points in my video and keep it as concise as possible. Most samples are fine. some are awesome. At first I was frustrated with concealers and foundations until I realized that the differences in colors help them sync with different skin tones. I think pink concealer is better for darker skin tones! A few tips for better makeup: - Apply concealer and foundation with a sponge blender - they blend better and look smoother/smooth too - Use a dab of concealer or primer on your eyelids before applying makeup Instruct. DO NOT use powder on your upper lids when using eye makeup. - After applying your makeup, lightly spritz some water on your face to firm and fix it and prolong its durability Up for Eyes more smudge-resistant and durable - a little powder on the lashes before the mascara makes your lashes much thicker and longer! A little later, your mascara will last longer and become more resistant to smudging! - Fix the lipstick by pressing the lips on a piece of fabric and then dusting with translucent powder. This is where that purity really shines - it's a great way to create a whole new set of lip colors.
