As the name suggests, buying this computer is a true plug and play experience. - Installation is simple and straightforward. I complete the installation in under 30 minutes after watching Cyberpower's video tutorial. Most of the time is spent managing this large computer case. Windows 11 is preinstalled on the system. The login experience is better than Windows 10. Nothing to say about that. - The gaming experience is fantastic! I have to say that the gaming experience depends a lot on what hardware configuration you get when you buy it. My rating is based on comparing this Cyberpower PC to my old gaming laptop. My Cyberpower has an RTX2060 GPU and the latest Intel i5. My old laptop is Alienware M17 with GTX980M and Intel i7 from 6 years ago. Using Valheim as an example, I record 30 frames per second with high graphics settings and a resolution of 4k. 50 fps at 2K and >60 fps at 1080p (limited by monitor refresh rate). My Alienware is struggling at 60 fps at 1080p and around 15 fps at 4k. For me that is a big difference. Noise isn't a problem I saw some customers complaining about the noise from this computer before I bought the computer. These comments really bothered me before the purchase, so I want to share my personal opinion about it here. For me, noise doesn't affect my user experience. I hear it? Yes. Can I hear it when watching videos/playing games? no Again, I want to compare this Cyberpower computer to my old Alienware m17. When my Alienware m17 is fairly quiet when idling, the Cyberpower PC is louder. This makes sense since laptop fans don't run all the time while Cyberpower desktop fans run all the time. Not to mention the 4 large fans in the Cyberpower PC (3 in the front and 1 in the back). Things really change when running graphically heavy games. My old Alienware makes a very loud noise when running GTA 5 at 1080p and I can clearly see the fans struggling to dissipate the heat. In comparison, I don't feel any increase in the noise level of Cyberpower PCs. Noise is not a problem for me. Also remember that my computer is on the floor, not on a table. Plenty of ports Another reason I want to buy this desktop PC is the number of ports it has. I often work from home during these COVID years. It's a huge pain that I have to unplug and plug back in my mouse, keyboard, and dual monitors every time I switch from my work laptop to my home PC. There may be some sort of magical docking system that caters to my specific needs/pains. But nobody told me that and I don't know how to do that for 3 years until I get this cyberpower computer. It has at least 4 USB ports, as well as HDMI and display ports. Now I can use two monitors (one HDMI and one DisplayPort) at the same time and have them constantly connected to my work and home PC. This may seem obvious to many people who previously had a desktop PC. But for me, who uses laptops all the time, it's a huge productivity boost. Overall, I recommend people buy this PC for both gaming and personal use. What I like about this PC: Installation is simple and straightforward; The gaming experience is fantastic; Noise isn't a problem; many ports. PS: I am surprised that PCs currently have a built-in Wi-Fi receiver (at least this Cyberpower PC had Wi-Fi). I put my computer in the corner of the room and it still gets maximum signal strength. This is a plus.
