Review on ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ CyberpowerPC Ultra Thin Monitor, IPS - Perfect for Xtreme Gaming by Patrick Palomar

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Completion of work. the best in my rating

I bought one from Revain: CYBERPOWERPC Gamer Xtreme VR Gaming PC, Intel Core i5-11400F 2.6GHz, 8GB DDR4, GeForce RTX 2060 6GB, 500GB NVMe SSD, WiFi Ready and Win 11 Home (GXiVR8060A11). Overall I am satisfied with my purchase. There were small problems. The PC worked great but didn't have hard drive enclosures for extra storage. Brackets are missing. No set screws or fasteners. Adding an additional SATA SSD is unthinkable. I can see with the back panel removed where there is room to mount two additional SSDs, but I don't get any mounting cassettes. I spoke to customer service about it and they opened a repair order and said they would try to ship it to me. About a week later I received a package from CyberPower in the mail. A mouse pad was in the box. mousepad. Do not get me wrong. It was a very good mouse pad. But not what is needed. I still haven't figured out how to fix this. The GPU was also installed quite jerkily. There is a backplate on the outside of the case which the installer obviously didn't want to remove during assembly and the 2 screws holding the GPU were placed at a very lateral thread angle as they obviously screw in from the inside of the case and not from the outside for a straight sentence. . It was bad. The next problem is pretty minor, but I don't really understand it. The PC comes with a stick of DDR4 RAM. I bought the PC with this in mind, with plans to add an extra flash drive in the future. Except they will send you an 8GB single channel stick. If you want to work in dual channel mode, the 8GB stick they sent me was unusable at least when it was swapped out. How much did a single channel flash drive save compared to a dual channel flash drive? The CPU cooler is unusable and should be replaced immediately, but that's to be expected. Cable management is ok. RGB is simple and controlled only by the controller, however additional lights can easily be added for synchronization. Overall a good PC bought knowing the update was on the horizon in both the short and long term. So far it has been easy. The fit and finish were excellent upon initial inspection, but upon closer inspection, a few squinted eyes and raised eyebrows were noticed. The lack of a SATA SSD mount makes me pretty salty. Customer service is good and professional but a bit suspicious. mouse pad? (Edit) I've had this computer for 5 months now and it continues to work. Several improvements have been made and this review required some updates. Added a photo of the area on the side of the case where the missing SSD caddies should be. I gave up trying to solve this problem with cyber power. It's still very frustrating. The case itself is the main case for the cooler and I will try to contact them to see if it is possible to purchase cases for this case from them as my current solution in terms of wiring is not impressive. I also added a 240mm radiator. AIO master. To stay updated. For a larger case, the ASRock B560m-c motherboard in this PC is pretty small and the AIO was REALLY tight. It should be pointed out once again that a standard cooler is not sufficient even for the very low power consumption of this i5 of 65 watts. Regarding the ambient temperature, I felt that the Vetroo tower cooler, which I replaced the standard cooler with, was also missing. While the Cooler Master AIO was really tight, it manages heat an order of magnitude better. The second photo I added is what this PC might be. The 2060 is also a pretty mediocre GPU and was replaced by a reference rx6800 that I was able to purchase for $380 shipping/after tax, which is a much better match for the i5. -11400f. I'm pretty sure Cyberpower taught me that next time I'll build my own computer. It was a great learning experience. I will update this review again once I find the correct solution to the SSD caddy issue.
