They came in a much larger box with no protection. The two pieces came in a plastic bag that was opened clean and not torn, so I can only assume it was returned. I think the reason for the return was that when they were stacked together in a plastic bag, one of them was bent a total of 0.03" and the other was pretty much straight. Since only one was clearly bent, this was not done upon delivery. You can cut a straight groove in wood or something, put the retaining screws in a straight line and hopefully straighten the aluminum profile.
