I tried this paint and I really liked it. No sanding or prep or waxing is required to successfully use this product. It practically doesn't smell, so I just put the clothes on and started painting right where the furniture was. I wiped everything down with a damp paper towel to remove dust and started painting. The color settles and dries quickly. I used about 1 1/2 long sideboard containers, 6 chairs, a large table and a small desk. It's easy to do, but I found I had to do at least 3 coats. I didn't want any color to be visible from below. I've found that a large chalk brush works best, especially in cracks and crevices. When I've finished painting all of the furniture, it's usually ready for an additional coat of paint. I wanted a gold/silver finish, so I used a sponge to rub Rust-Oleum champagne and gold metallic highlights over the cream (Manor House), which was whiter than cream. I started painting my buffet table but I liked how it turned out so I painted the entire dining table, chairs and desk. I put a few layers of clear sheet on top of the dining table to give it a little more protection. I used dark glaze on the sideboard and rubbed it down to give it a more textured look. I don't know how the color will hold up over time but it was easy to use, easy to clean and looks great.
