The insulating gasket that sits between the bracket and the surface it is attached to only fits a 4 watt switch. I used it with a 100 watt ham radio and shortly after installation it caught fire. It's too thin and I suspect there is some carbon in the black plastic. In any case, it's definitely here now. Otherwise, it's a well-made piece of stainless steel. (Okay, some instrument clatter on flat surfaces, but hey). It has no problem holding a 102-inch steel whip, and I'm not worried about any part of it breaking under the load. Seriously, don't try to run any force through this thing.
