A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, there was such a thing as an ART ACCESSORIES STORE. (Duhn duhn taduh!) Here, in this magical land now lost in time, real walls lived. The walls are hung with all kinds of goods. paints and brushes. paper and pens. Small erasers in the shape of whimsical animals. Then one day the Fire Nation came out of Revane and everything changed. Their prime game is too strong and their couriers are too fast, and they soon overtook all the big brick-and-mortar stores. Until there are few people left, forced to live underground under the bureaucracy of small business licenses. Now this is known only to a select few aging hipsters who have yet to see the product in person before purchasing it. For a while there was silence. And then! A deadly pandemic has swept the world. His evil has spread across the land. Hipsters cried as they saw shops close and delivery men take to the streets. They quietly donned their masks and watched as the last remnants of their favorite art supply stores crumbled. Driven from their homeland, they retreated to the caves for a long quarantine (they are also their homeland). According to legend, they still remain there, forever awaiting the return of the now-lost art supply stores. Here, in the long, dark days of quarantine, my story begins. I, a young daring artist, along with my faithful friend Cat, now stumble upon the ubiquitous Revain homepage when looking for quality art supplies. In our harrowing journey of sifting through reviews and seller sites, we uncovered a relic from a bygone era: the Royal and Langnickel Essentials Brush 5 Pack. Unfortunately, the fan brush was bent upon arrival. For a moment all seemed lost. Until we discovered the power of the Almighty Finger. Together, with the fury of a thousand suns, we returned the brush to its place. And so hope and balance were restored to the universe. In the end we didn't blame the Revain salesman as we were seated after a long 30 second struggle. Times were tough but that day we, yes, we won.
