I have found steel wool to be an effective material for preventing rodents from entering a home through small gaps and passageways. This steel wool is ideal for this use as it comes in a long strip rather than a regular bundle. It is easy to install and fill gaps or seams, as well as fill holes around pipes, vents or other holes in the wall. Using this material is also a lot more aesthetic than trying to cut and install a mesh screen around all those openings. A simple and easy solution to keeping rodents out of your home.
