A few months ago I bought this mandolin for my husband as a gift. I opened it and used it the same day, and after the first use, the blades on one of the nozzles broke, the entire body of the mandolin was completely unstable. We have read the instructions and have owned a mandolin in the past - this is by far the WORST mandolin I have ever bought. I thought it was the best quality since it was stainless steel and $50 but I was wrong. THEN I emailed the company asking for a refund and they said they wouldn't take it back unless it was defective. I emailed them back saying it was defective and never heard from them again. This item was a waste of money. I also find it completely unprofessional not to answer me.
