Comp Cams Mothr Thumpr Kit includes camshaft, tappets, triple valve springs, dual roller timing chain, retainers, valve stem retainers and valve stem seals. The seals that came with my kit didn't work on my heads unless you take the heads and edit them to make them work. I've decided to stick with OE style umbrella seals. My springs came with a third valve spring that didn't work on my heads either. Using the dual-valve mainsprings along with break-in oil and assembly lube, I installed the cam and broke it in as recommended, alternating from 2 to 2500 rpm for 30 minutes. Oil changed and filled with fresh oil with ZDDP additive for flat cams. The chambers sounded great for about 10 miles, after which I started playing around with the carburetor. Took the valve covers off and found my rockets dangled a bit. Turned each half a turn and problem solved. I have a few more trips to the grocery store and the same thing is popping up through the carb. I took the valve covers off and found that at least 1 pusher had collapsed and the camshaft was erased. Seriously disappointed as I liked the sound and performance of this camera. Lucky if I even had 20 miles of driving time beforehand. I will be replacing it with a more powerful camera as this is just for the extra punch everyone loves.
