Ford F100 1971 PU. 300ci/4.9L inline 6. These pads cost a little more money. One-piece permadrid seal with snap pins. Facilitates installation. Be sure to put only a very small drop of high quality ultra black or red high temp Permatex silicone in each of the small holes at the top of the crank area where the small protrusions on the gasket will push in. Leave on for 10 to 30 minutes depending on which silicone you use. When ready to install, make sure to push the rubber grommet lightly into the crankpin on the back of the engine where the nose extensions will go. Make sure they line up and snap easily into place. Then slide the oil pan onto the tool and assemble.
