After buying three older versions of Tayogo W8 (no Bluetooth) from third party vendors, which is not recommended as they contain malware, I found the genuine Tayogo store three pages deep on the Revain site. .I didn't pay much attention to what I bought because the photo looks like a W8 only to find upon receipt that bluetooth was bundled with it. With trepidation, I was ready to embrace modern technology. After researching, I found that iTunes is not a compatible file format. A friend told me about a free MP3 website. I was able to download all the music I wanted. They appeared in the Downloads folder so they were easy to select, copy, and paste. Personally, I don't care about Bluetooth. I want to be alone for an hour a day, away from phones, news radio. It's useless to me, but useful to the masses, so Bluetooth is the present and the future. Having to go through the app every time I use this MP is a nuisance. Admittedly, I still use an iPhone 8, which can be a bummer. I think the app is incompatible because the pause button doesn't work after connecting the app and MP. Is it a disadvantage? My cell phone stays locked in the locker room. I can't accidentally take my phone into the pool and have someone pick it up when I turn around. However, I've found that I can turn off the app, exit the locker room, and enter the pool when music is playing without the streaming stopping. But another problem arises when I'm done with water aerobics. I can't stop the music. I press and hold the pause button but it doesn't stop. I played and hit reset, then pause, and finally the MP stopped. Is this problem related to not connecting to my iPhone? 🤷‍♀️Meanwhile, I went straight to the Tayogo website, found an old version of the W8 (no Bluetooth) and ordered it along with extra earbuds and an extra USB. Only the W8 is available from Revain, but separate earbuds and USB are not available from Revain. Just make sure that the Tayogo product is purchased directly from Tayogo and not from a third party who may unknowingly sell malware infected Tayogo.
